February Camp

When: Wednesday the 18th and Thursday the 19th of February 9:30am - 3:30pm

Hockey Fever are delighted to bring you a FULL day of hockey fun! Due to popular demand we have been asked to run a full day of fun, this one will be at The King's School artifical pitches.

Our grassroots hockey camp is designed for 8–14 year olds of all levels and abilities, from first-timers to experienced players. We believe hockey should be inclusive, supportive, and fun, creating a safe environment where everyone feels welcome and valued.

Across the camp, players will enjoy plenty of game-based activities, skill development, and match play, all led by experienced, encouraging coaches. Sessions focus on building confidence, teamwork, and leadership, helping young players grow both on and off the pitch.

Whether your child wants to try hockey for the first time, improve their skills, or simply enjoy being active with friends, this camp offers a positive, high-energy experience where everyone gets involved and leaves feeling proud.

Camp hours:

Standard hours are 9:30am to 3:30pm.

Extended hours 9am to 4pm. These are an additional 30minutes at each end of the day to give parents a little more flex on pick up and drop off.

What to bring:

Gum shield, shin pads and stick are the essentials, appropriate clothing, water, snacks and lunch (no nuts please). We have a covered area and access to indoor changing rooms/toilets should the weather be awful at lunch time.

What a typical day may look like:

9:00 - 9:15 Check-in and 'free swim' / practice your skills / meet new friends

9:15 - 10:00 Group warm-up games.

10:00-10:15 Drink break

10:15-11:30 Introductory skills and participatory fun games

11:30-11:45 Snack break

11:45 - 13:00 More skills and small sided games

13:00 - 13:45 Lunch break

13:45 - 14:00 Warm up and tournament organisation

14:00-15:15 Tournament play

15:15. - 15:30 Wrap up, find out who is player of the day and gather our stuff together
